The Italian language school for foreigners IDIOMA in Rome is a study center specialized in teaching the Italian language and culture. The school organizes lessons in-class and entertaining and enjoyable activities to practice Italian language in convivial situations and to discover Rome and the Italian culture in general. The lessons in-class of the Italian language school will generally occur in the morning. Otherwise, in the afternoon the students, together with the teacher, would have conversation experiences through the streets of Rome, in which they will practice the concepts and the abilities learned in the first part of the day.

    Certified institution

    The school has an agreement with the CEDIS Lazio – Training Center for CELI examiners, and with the University for Foreigners of Perugia.

    CELI, the institution for the certification of Italian language, certifies the ability and skills to use the Italian language. The certificates can be used for work & studying. The language exams can be held in our office or in the University for Foreigners of Perugia and affiliated examination centres.

    This includes CELI A2 exam for the residence permission and B1 for the citizenship.

    The PLIDA (Dante Alighieri Italian Language Project) offers the opportunities and tools available to the students, teachers and those who’s passionate about Italian language: certification of Italian as a foreign language, updating teachers, educational resources and projects, linguistic assistance for migrants and immigrant citizens, ALMA PLIDA teaching materials.

    The Certification of Italian as a Foreign Language (CILS) is a certification issued by the University for Foreigners of Siena for the foreigners who study the Italian language, divided into different levels of competence. The certification is recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This Italian language school offers its students the opportunity to speak the Italian language and, at the same time, to discover the beauties of the city by walks through the streets of Rome, books reading, films watching, typical Italian dishes tasting.
